talking clocking

i might be very crazy
i may have lost my mind
but the clocks are talking to me
and they're telling me the time

when i wake in the morning
just minding my own B
i hear a clock say "seven"
and it is the LED

i was just being quiet
with nothing much to do
when the wall clock in the kitchen
said it was quarter to two

and later, in the evening
when it was getting late
my wristwatch blew my addled brain
and told me it was eight

i'm on the brink of madness
i'm insane as can be
for clocks and watches everywhere
are telling time to me
